I have my daughter in my first-grade class this year, and I sat next to her at lunch today. I am very thankful for her and for the little boy who made sure he could sit next to me on the other side. He turned to me while we were eating and said, "Your are like a teacher mom to all of us!" It made my heart melt! I LOVE my job!

I have known since the girst grade that I wanted to become a teacher. I am in my 9th year and I still enjoy teaching my students.  I love when I teach a concept and my students prove to me that they understand it when they teach it to one of their classmates, or they visit one of the stations and complete the activity with ease.

I am thankful for the grace and mercy my Lord bestows on me daily.  I'm unworthy.  Through my gratefulness I have can worshipa and obey him.

I am thankful that God led me to the teaching industry. I was young and had a degree in chemistry that I was not sure what to do with. Circumstances happened that let me to being asked to teach for a desperate needed area. It has now been over 10 years and the fullfillment I get daily from the juniors and seniors is priceless. I'm thankful for having a healthy and very supportive family, for doing what I love to do most: making a positive difference in my students.  I'm also thankful for my parents, friends, coworkers, teachers and any other person that in one way or another helped or inspired me to be who I am today: a teacher!
